Starting in 2011, The Mowing Pros has grown from a small 1 man owner/operator company to a team of dedicated employees and is continuing to grow year after year. Striving to set ourselves apart from other lawn services, we created our instant online quotes (one of the few companies in the country that do this!!). Between not having to wait any longer for estimates and easy credit/debit card billing, we have proven to be different yet still maintain that small family owned business. Owner, Jay Boyd, is a 4 year US Marine Corps veteran. Jay was stationed at Camp Lejeune with the 2nd Battalion 8th Marine regiment. As an infantry Marine, he did numerous tours overseas including Afghanistan and Iraq. Upon his honorable discharge, he created The Mowing Pros for his love of the outdoors and passion of landscaping and lawn mowing in the “green industry”. Jay currently resides on the Eastern Shore with his wife Ashley and 2 kids.
The Mowing Pros proudly services the Washington DC metro area as well as the lower Eastern Shore resort towns of Berlin, Ocean Pines, Ocean City, Bethany Beach and Fenwick Island.
